Notes:	Supply List: Please bring your preferred painting materials – here are some suggestions below: Canvas Board or Stretched Canvas (suggested large format sizes) • 36" x 36"– A classic large square canvas, great for balanced compositions. • 30" x 40"– A versatile size, perfect for dynamic and expressive abstract work. • 36" x 48"– Ideal for making bold statements and experimenting with expansive brushwork. Paints: Acrylic paint set in 8-24 colors – (appx 4 oz. tubes), or you may choose your own colors such as: Titanium White, Turquoise Blue or Green, Ultramarine Blue, Burnt Sienna, Yellow, Raw Umber, Ochre, Veridian Green, Ivory, Black, Dioxazine Purple, Cadmium Red, Light Green Permanent, Alizarin Crimson, Cerulean Blue A palette or plastic/styrofoam plates Various Brushes: • Filberts and/or Flats especially larger sizes! • Round Brushes: Useful for detailed work, curves, and softer edges. • Palette Knives: Great for layering, texturing, and bold strokes. • Large Brushes: Sizes 2” to 4” for covering large areas quickly. • Foam Brushes or Rollers: Ideal for smooth gradients and background washes. Plastic Water Containers such as yogurt or margarine containers Acrylic Medium Mist Spray Bottle and Paper Towels

Course Description:

Have you ever wanted to know what it takes to make an abstract piece come to life on a big canvas?

No matter if you’re a beginner just starting out painting or a seasoned artist who wants to see a different way to approach a large canvas, this workshop will teach you how to use acrylic colors and texturizing applications to bring your creativity to life. Learn to use larger tools and brushes for additional texture and impact. The instructors will encourage you to loosen up and be free with your painting style and transform your emotions into big, bold, beautiful abstracts!

Husband and wife team, Michael and Kimberly Baughan have formed a fantastic partnership - working together to make fine art that resonates with people from all walks of life. They combine their individual artistic skills to collaborate and create captivating paintings. Together, they make a dynamic duo – with positive energy and zest for life!  This chemistry enables them to produce exceptional work.
