Suggested Books:
Color Theory: An Essential Guide to Color-From Basic Principles to Practical Applications by Patti Mollica (acrylic)
Frank Webb on Water Color by Frank Webb (has a great section on color theory)

I suggest Golden, Liquitex, Daniel Smith, or other professional grade acrylics and watercolors. These brands are excellent for pigment load and minimal color shift. You may bring any brand that you have.

Anything else that seems like it might be useful! If you have questions about supplies, please don’t hesitate to send me an email.

Class Description:

Does color mixing confuse and frustrate you? In this informative one-day workshop you will learn not just about color theory, but how to apply that knowledge to mixing paint. Save time and money by learning how to mix the colors you want. This is a great jump-start workshop to take in conjunction with a weekly acrylic painting class, or a refresher for anyone who is already painting regularly.
