This 6-week class teaches foundational figure drawing using techniques like the Envelope, Bean and Box, and Gesture methods. These simplify the human form into manageable steps, making the process less intimidating. Artists gain confidence and improve their skills through structured, accessible approaches to drawing the full figure. A model fee will be collected from each student on the days a model is used. Supply list available, or A Materials Kit Fee of $25 PAYABLE TO INSTRUCTOR AT FIRST CLASS provides all of the materials you need.

Instructor Bio:
James Allen holds a BFA in Illustration from Utah Valley University and has spent the past 12 years working as a freelance illustrator. His passion for visual storytelling is matched by his enthusiasm for teaching and mentoring aspiring artists. When he's not creating or instructing, James enjoys spending time outdoors, especially hiking and exploring nature.
