Notes:	Supply List: A #2 Pencil A roll of paper towels Two plastic water containers to clean brushes (large yogurt containers work) A small spray bottle for water Snacks and lunch if you wish Also, while an apron may help, you will get paint on your clothes.

Never held a paintbrush? Can’t draw a straight line? No artistic ability?

THIS WORKSHOP IS FOR YOU!  You need no painting or drawing experience at all!  In this four-hour acrylic workshop, you will create a painting from scratch. Learn to see shapes, colors, and tones in the simplest way that will ultimately become a work of art. Paints, canvas, and brushes will be provided; however, you will need to bring the items on the supply list.

Instructor Bio:

Barbara May is a native Atlantan and raised her family blocks from Abernathy Arts Center. Her background and training are in accounting, business, and marketing. She has created and sold several successful businesses.  Once retired, she wanted to explore the other side of her brain.  She sat down with some paints and a brush and created her first painting using a unique but simple way of seeing shapes, tones, and color.
