Supply List:
• Graphite Pencils: A complete set of graphite pencils that range from Hard, Medium, and Soft. You can replace these pencils individually as they start to wear down. Derwent, Staedtler, or Caran d’Ache Grafwood Pencils are good.
• SURFACES: • 18" x 24" or 14” x 17”, 80 lbs. Strathmore Drawing Paper Pad 400 Series • Drawing Board large enough for 18” X 24” Drawing Paper
• MISCELLANEOUS: • Drawing Board with clamps, large enough for 18" x 24"
• Pencil Sharpener (cordless electric or traditional manual recommended)
• Drafting Eraser, Kneaded Eraser, and mechanical eraser with refills if possible.
• Acid-free drafting tape
• Spray Fixative
• Blending stumps
• Ruler

Learn to draw more complex subject matter with added light, texture, and shadow. Build on your basic fundamental techniques to elevate your drawing skills! The medium for this course is Graphite.

Instructor Bio:
Bryan Thompson is a local Atlanta Artist receiving his BFA in Drawing and Painting from Kennesaw State University, and a Master's in Visual Development from the Academy of Art University. He has over a decade of experience in higher education teaching, utilizing a multitude of media, including traditional graphite and pastel drawing, oil painting, pen and ink drawing, and digital drawing and painting. Bryan's subjects range from classical Still Life compositions, Portraiture, Figure Drawing, Figure Painting, and Landscapes to Character, Creature, and Prop Design dedicated to Games and Film.
