In this class, students will work on composition, value, shapes, and techniques in oils. Students will use photos or occasionally work from setups to examine the effect of light on subjects. Students can bring their own photos to work from or use some provided by the instructor. The course will include lectures, demonstrations, studio work (both in and out of class), and group critiques. While creativity is the foundation, honing your technique will elevate your work to a professional level.
If you are looking to take your oil painting journey to the next level, this class is for you!
