At the first class you will select which pattern to make.
We will review the patterns for any unfamiliar techniques, determine appropriate size and yarn quantities needed, and note needle size/style. You’ll make the required purchases and bring to next classes.

Easy knit pullover patterns. Knitting skills needed - cast on, knit, purl, bind off, increase, decrease and ability to read/understand a pattern. If you have forgotten the fundamentals, there will be a review. Bring your needles and yarns to practice. 

Select a long sleeve stockinette stitch pullover (striped or solid) or a long-sleeve garter stitch pullover adorned with ribbon if you like.

Both are Vogue patterns and can be created with cottons or heavier yarns.  Stockinette Stitch pullover sizes - Small, Medium, and Large. Garter Stitch pullover sizes - Xsmall, Small, Medium, Large, and Plus 1, Plus 2, Plus 3.

Instructor Bio:

Melanie Paul has been knitting for more than 20 years. She has knitted and designed an array of fashion items and accessories including coats, sweaters, hats, scarves, and purses. Her knit repertoire also includes decorative pieces for the home.  She has participated in holiday craft shows and has donated many hand-knits for charitable distribution.  Melanie teaches knitting privately and has been a fiber arts instructor at continuing education programs.
