Supply List: Supplies will cost around $30-$50 depending on the quality of the paint, and how many brushes you purchase. The good paper is a must for watercolor. Paint: Bring Red, Blue, Yellow minimum to the first class. Here are some options: daniel smith 6-color set at dick blick cotman (student grade) Brush: I like a size 10 or a size 12 round point. Princeton Heritage watercolor brushes are good quality and affordable princeton heritage size 12 round simply simmons (student grade brush) 100% cotton paper in a block, pad or loose sheets. If it is cotton, it will be printed on the jacket. It is a must. Arches is quality paper and the brand that I use most. arches pad arches loose sheets foam core boards (5) artist tape Paper can be taped to any rigid, non-porous material such as foam board, a plexiglass sheet, plywood, drawing board, whiteboard, etc. If you buy paper in a block (glued on all sides) you won’t need to adhere it to anything. Pencil, eraser, sharpener Watercolor Palette: There are many types, but I advise a good-sized plastic palette with small wells and a large mixing area in the middle. One with a lid makes transport easier and gives you another mixing surface. 2 small water containers Paper towels NOTE: Please feel free to bring anything not on the list. If you have any questions about supplies, please don’t hesitate to send me an email
